KJ and Dan are having a hard time communicating. After a few years of dating, a couple go to a friend’s cabin for the weekend to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, rat trapped in a sticky trap. They disagree on how to proceed, with KJ advocating for a quick death, and Dan suggesting making the rat’s final moments as comfortable as possible. The couple reach a compromise and move on, slowly finding their way to each other in this beautiful setting. Unfortunately, their peace is disturbed by the arrival of a little woman who can only be described as “eccentric” – she’s their host’s younger sister, and no one knew that anyone was staying at the family cabin. It’s okay to bump into her, right? As the couple struggles to contain this intruder on an already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this obnoxious third wheel may be more of a threat to their relationship than they realize.
